All staff with whom we came into contact were relaxed, friendly and efficient. Although we didn't use the bar, post dinner service ( Port/ Coffee) was delivered to table very swiftly. The Chef is to be complimented on his creativity and presentation. All his combinations of flavours, within the range of dishes sampled, worked well together. Dining was a good and memorable experience.
Our allocated room was a little 'smaller' than expected but we assume this was the result of being moved further away from the venue of two wedding receptions, during our stay, to offset the effects of any noise overspill. Once four days worth of clothing was unpacked there was not a great deal of room in which to move about however having said that we were away from the room, touring, for most of the daylight hours.
